Local officer Samwell Smith was arrested and charged last week for the murder of an as of this printing, a still unknown male.
It is unknown at this time what exactly happened, though sources state that Officer Smith was not there in an official capacity and was seen brandishing a large gun in front of the victim moments before the murder was committed.
The incident took place in Myserie Regional Clinic, and statements from the clinic tell us that this incident was a single, random attack and that the clinic is completely safe for patients to seek medical attention at the facility.
Officer Smith took a plea offered by the District Attorney and was released on Friday at 10am. The details of the deal have not been released at this time.
