The desiccated corpse of a male dressed in modern clothing was found in the nook beside the NooNoo Noodle Shop in downtown Myserie City late Friday night/ early Saturday morning.
Found next to the mummy were a pile of female clothes and belongings covered in an iridescent dust.
The identity of the deceased and possible missing person are being withheld at this time as it is an ongoing investigation.
Witnesses at the scene report seeing the eyes of the corpse move and hearing a barely audible hiss as it was loaded into the coroner’s van.
Another witness claimed to know the identity of the owner of the clothes found in the nook, but this was unable to be verified at this time.
Paramedics were on scene and due to attempts at resuscitation a large hole was punched in the chest of the mummy.
One member of the bystanders crossed over the police lines but avoided being detained.
