This is the local coven in Myserie that is now run by a new High Priestess, Ria Ohno.
Witches of all sorts are welcome, so long as one puts the Coven before all else. We do not judge anyone for their magic, their skill levels, or anything of the like.
The Coven treats one another similar to a family. Supports one another, and helps each other through everything they can.
Hierarchy of the Coven:
High Priest(ess) - This rank leads the Coven, handles deciding punishments, and generally is the one who keeps things going within the Coven. They also can permit non Coven members (other Witches, or even other races) permission into the Coven Space without an escort.
Priest(ess) - This rank helps the High Priestess lead. They are absolutely the second in command. Priest(ess) takes care of the Coven members, make sure that they are in good health, and that they understand duties, and sometimes even teach younger members.
Elders - These members generally are a part of the Coven long enough to have given advice to the higher ranks. They help handle teaching, and are a deciding factor when the High Priest(ess) or the Priest(ess) need their help.
Guardians - These are the protectors of the Coven. This rank hands out the punishments at discretion of the High Priestess. They are the executioner, the one who does what needs done.
Devoted - Those absolutely loyal to the Coven and have proven such. These members are just as important as those above.
Acolytes - Newer members, ones who have pledged loyalty by saying they'd join the Coven. These members are just as important as anyone else, though they may not be higher ranking. All members of the Coven are important!
Solitary Witches - Witches not of the Coven. Some may be protected due to alliances, or friendships created. The protected Solitary are able to gain unescorted access into the Coven Space with permission of the High Priest(ess).
How to Gain Rank Within The Coven:
The easier way to gain a rank is to show ((through RP)) that one is worthy of said rank. One will need to do all they can to earn the ranking. ((If you wish to show me that you are doing something towards a rank and I am not online, feel free to NC the scene and send it to me. I'll keep track of when ranks are earned.))
One can also challenge the rank above them to take said position. However, if it is a rank that can have more than one within the position, it will not take the challenged members position away, and will merely give the challenger the position as well, should they win.
A challenge can only be done once every 20 days, no matter the rank one is trying for.
Should one earn a position by either of these methods, and not continue to prove themselves worthy of said position, the High Priest(ess) can demote them once more. ((RL does not count for this unless one disappears for so long that it is unfair to keep them in said position))
The Coven Laws:
Do not bring random people to our safe haven within the cavern. Only those you know you can trust. Preferably with the permission of the High Priestess, Priestess, or Priest. A Guardian permission is fine as well.
The Coven is similar to a family. We protect and help one another where we can.
Should one get into trouble intentionally, it is not required for the Coven to help them out of said trouble. Especially, if that said trouble is against Coven laws.
Coven members must follow the city laws, along with the Supernatural, and Core Laws for Witches.
