Shifters are some of the most physically powerful sentient creatures on the planet and while some feel they have been cursed with the affliction that manifests every full moon, others relish the shift and run through the woods. Born or Bitten, Wolf, Feline, or Bear, when the moon rises, they all shed their human selves for something more wild.

Pack Structure:
Packs are regional, each region being under the jurisdiction of an Alpha. The Alpha is in charge of all things Shifter as far as politics and punishment go. It is up to the player’s discretion on whether or not they join the pack, it is NOT required, however the perks of being in a pack usually outweigh the cons.
Hierarchy:
Alpha - Richard Thorne (Hikaru Mekanic)
Alphas are usually the strongest and most experienced Shifter in the area and are in charge of a pack. Their word is law and is to be obeyed and respected by those in and out of the pack. They are responsible for preserving the integrity of the pack and maintaining order among Shifters.
Alphas can only be challenged by the Beta, and if challenged, it will be to the death or until a surrender. The deposed Alpha or defeated Beta does not have to leave the territory unless the victor demands it.
Beta - Niko (Nikolai Mercury)
The Beta is Alpha's second in command. They are the Alpha's eyes and ears and handles the issues and also relay all information and progress in pack matters to the Alpha in order to maintain organization throughout the pack. In the event of the Alpha being absent, the Beta is placed in charge as acting Alpha, and their orders are to be treated as such.
Only a Beta can challenge the Alpha.
Gamma - Levi Redfield
Gamma is the Alpha’s third in command. They are in charge of making sure the lesser errands for the pack are complete and answer to both Beta and Alpha. They are also the ones that do what needs to be done and cannot for various reasons. Whether it’s torture, or removing a threat, the Gamma is the one that is called upon to serve.
Only a Gamma can challenge the Beta.
Omega - тєzuкα мαѕuнιтσ "To" (Endrance Zsun)
The Omega is the one the pack leans on for reassurance. Usually the smaller, or weaker of the group, this member holds a valuable position in helping to raise any young, and helps the Daskalos teach newer shifters how to control their beasts.
Roles Within the Pack:
All roles are the same rank within the pack. Roles are not meant to be restrictive, they are meant to play to the strengths of the character. You are not required to choose a role and one may be granted to you by the Alpha through roleplay.
Elders -
These Shifters are not necessarily the oldest ones, but are the most mature and experienced. They are typically well versed in the way of the pack in the world in general. Elders are typically the ones that are gone to for advice or council. These Shifters are also considered ‘shamans’ or ‘mystics’ due to their expertise in the spiritual aspects of being a Shifter.
Daskalos - Old Nonna (NPC)
The Daskalos are in charge of training pups and newly turned Shifters and reporting the progress of training back to the Alpha. They work in conjunction with the Omega with raising the young past their first shift.
