Factions in Myserie

While there are many different races in the world, there are also quite a few factions that can be race specific, or in some cases, race indifferent, though they are all entirely optional to join.

Who you hang out with is who molds you, so be careful who you call your family.

The Hunter's Association is a group comprised of Humans from specific Families, and Vollstrecker, something not quite Human anymore who’ve been trained to hunt Supernaturals and deal with the worst of them. This group know Supernaturals secrets and that knowledge is only passed through families via books, diaries, letters, and word of mouth.

The Winter Court
Those in the Courts of Fae come in all shapes and sizes, and all walks of life.
While the crowns still remain bonded, there is always the possibility of them being broken again and two courts ruling over Underhill once more.

The Beast-Kin Tribe
Hailing from Underhill like their cousins the Fae, Beast-kin have been around nearly as long, though not so much.

While they have had their own leaders for each race and city in Underhill, each territory needs one to unite them all on the Earthly plane.

Shifters are some of the most physically powerful sentient creatures on the planet and while some feel they have been cursed with the affliction that manifests every full moon, others relish the shift and run through the woods. Born or Bitten, Wolf, Feline, or Bear, when the moon rises, they all shed their human selves for something more wild.

  • See Rule 13 for more information on Faction Creation rules and more.

  • Police, Firefighters, & EMTs are considered a secondary Faction and while they grant those that work the job the HP bonus perk, it does not stack on top of a racial bonus as well.

  • You may become a friend of, beloved, or protected by a Racial Faction and not be of the same race. While not usually considered a "full" member of the faction, you do gain the protection, and therefore the HP bonus associated with it. Again, you can only have one HP bonus and being part of several factions does not stack them.
